My babies, my blog.
I'll claim 'em all.
I'm Rachel Williamson, stay-at-home, work-at-home, mom, living in sunny Richmond, VA with my husband & partner-in-crime David. Together, we have 3 kids, Henry (4.5), Maggie (2.5) and Rosie (6mo). As if that wasn't enough to handle, we also have a dog and cat, both of whom we love and resent in equal measure.
I work from home part-time, about 20 hours a week, as a legal assistant. For my Dad. Which means my boss is SUPER flexible and understanding. It'd be hard to find anything more ideal at this point.
Before I scored that gig, I found ways to work at home by running an in-home daycare and preschool, and by doing some social media consulting. Way back before my kids were born, I taught elementary school, and I keep that dream alive by subjecting the kids to my favorite storybooks and various other teacher-y activities. They stand up to such treatment surprisingly well.
When I'm not wrangling babies and toddlers (which is rarely) I love to read, write, cook, watch TV (obsessively) and waste a shocking amount of time poking around the internet. I'm also a ferocious extrovert and love people, talking, talking to people, talking about people, and all permutations of people and talking.
I write mostly about my kids & our family life, but occasionally that intersects with some grown-up stuff, like literature, marriage, faith in Christ, and laundry. Clearly, those topics occur in no particular order or with any discernible rationale.
Enough about me. I'm glad you're here.
